Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society hosted a mobile food pantry for the hungry and poor on August 17, 2011. Many people came and were served with love.

On the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in 2011, St. Peter hosted its 6th annual Corpus Christi Procession. Archbishop George J. Lucas attended the event as did around 700 others.

After Mass, the whole parish celebrated its 125th anniversary with an outdoor dinner with pulled pork, fired chicken, and hundreds of cupcakes. Kids enjoyed games and drawing Eucharistic symbols for Corpus Christi. Guests enjoyed the Latin music of Mariachi Zapata and the polka music of Bob and Lenny.

Alums from the St. Peter Elementary School gathered on Friday, June 24th, 2011, at Anthony's restaurant in Omaha for a reunion.
