At the end of Totus Tuus each year the children participating elect 2 team leaders to become human sundaes. Don't worry, though; they don't actually eat them. -
St. Vincent de Paul Society Mobile Food Pantry 2012 (13)
Over 300 people received much needed food on May 16, 2012 at the Food Giveaway, an event coordinated by our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society and assisted by the Juan Diego Center of Catholic Charities. -
Confirmation 2012 (4)
On May 12th of 2012, Archbishop Elden Francis Curtiss shared the further gift of the Spirit with the youth and adults of St. Peter Parish and Our Lady of Fatima Parish in the sacrament of Confirmation. -
May Crowning 2012 (39)
The children in our parish catechism classes with their catechists processed with the statue of the Virgin and then crowned the image and presented her flowers on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Then the entire parish crowned Mary Queen during the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 6, 2012. -
First Communion 2012 (5)
Boys and girls of the parish received their 1st Communion on both April 22 and April 29, 2012. Congratulations to them and to their families! -

St. Vincent de Paul Society Mobile Food Pantry 2011 (10)
Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society hosted a mobile food pantry for the hungry and poor on August 17, 2011. Many people came and were served with love. -
Ora et Labora 2011 (15)
From July 8 through July 15 of 2011, teenage youth of the parish, along with adult chaperones, Fr. Weidner and Deacon Zak, their intrepid leader, attended the Steubenville Conference in Missouri and then proceeded to volunteer their labor, pray and learn about the consecrated life at the Little Portion Hermitage in Arkansas. -
Corpus Christi 2011 (343)
On the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in 2011, St. Peter hosted its 6th annual Corpus Christi Procession. Archbishop George J. Lucas attended the event as did around 700 others. -
125th Anniversary of the Parish Dinner & Celebration (98)
After Mass, the whole parish celebrated its 125th anniversary with an outdoor dinner with pulled pork, fired chicken, and hundreds of cupcakes. Kids enjoyed games and drawing Eucharistic symbols for Corpus Christi. Guests enjoyed the Latin music of Mariachi Zapata and the polka music of Bob and Lenny. -

St. Peter Elementary School Reunion 2011 (10)
Alums from the St. Peter Elementary School gathered on Friday, June 24th, 2011, at Anthony's restaurant in Omaha for a reunion. -
Spiritual Warfare Conference 2010 (167)
On September 11, 2010, St. Peter Church hosted the Spiritual Warfare Conference with Fr. John Corapi, SOLT, in what was previously known as the Qwest Center. More than 8,000 people attended the uplifting and inspiring event that celebrated the truths of our Catholic Faith. -
Spiritual Warfare Conference Lauds & Vespers 2010 (117)
During the Spiritual Warfare Conference on Sept. 11, 2010, lauds (morning prayer) and vespers (evening prayer) were chanted. His Excellency George J. Lucas, Archbishop of Omaha, presided in the morning and Fr. Damien Cook, pastor of St. Peter Church, presided in the evening. The accompanying choir and servers were members of St. Peter Church. -
Spiritual Warfare Conference Dinner 2010 (228)
On Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, St. Peter hosted a fundraiser dinner with Fr. John Corapi, SOLT, as the speaker. -
Rosary Rally 2008 (29)
On October 4th, 2008, St. Peter Church held another Rosary Rally with the help of the OATH Brothers and LIHM Sisters. The traveling statue of Our Lady of Fatima was used in the procession and a balloon rosary was released into the beautiful blue sky. -

On October 30, 2004, St. Peter Church hosted its first Rosary Rally with the help of the OATH Brothers and LIHM Sisters.
