Education Programs
Catechism for Children and Youth
Ongoing Catholic formation for the youth in our parish! Children/youth in public schools or in Catholic schools (home schools or parochial schools) are welcome.
Two years of preparation are required to be able to receive the Sacraments of First Eucharist (preceded by First Reconciliation or Penance) and Confirmation. If your children are not in a five-day Catholic school, please contact the directress of religious education to get specific information on the classes that are forming soon!
Many bilingual teachers are being trained to teach our youngsters the treasures of our Faith. Parent-teacher training will soon be available to assist parents to fulfill their roles as primary educators of their children. The pastor considers/discerns the readiness of each child to receive the Sacraments, so please take advantage of this program. For more information, call Sr. Clara Acosta at (402) 346-6845.
The classes are held from September through May each year.
