Parish Office Hours
There is a change in Parish Office hours. This is because the bulletin publisher deadline has changed. The parish office will now be closed on Mondays, except for appointments. Also, the office will be closed except for appointments on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons through April 2017.
Monday: (closed except by appointment)
Tuesday: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (closed in the afternoon except by appointment)
Wednesday: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon & 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (closed in the afternoon except by appointment)
Friday: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon & 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm
April 30, 2017: The Sacrament of First Holy Communion
Please pray for our children who will be receiving their First Holy Communion this month. There will be two First Holy Communion Masses this year: on April 22 and 30.
• Sunday, April 30 at the 9:30 am Mass: First Holy Communion Mass #2 for children attending home school and our Wednesday catechism classes.
• 10:30 am on Saturday, April 29: There will be a practice beginning in the school gymnasium.
• 8:30 am on Sunday, April 30: The children should arrive in the gymnasium before Mass.
May 12, 2017: The Sacrament of Confirmation
Our Confirmation Mass will be offered on Friday, May 12 at 6:30 pm with Archbishop emeritus Elden Francis Curtiss as the main celebrant. Please pray for all of our youth and adults who are preparing to receive Confirmation on May 12, 2017.
• Saturday, May 6 at 10:30 am: There will be a practice for the Confirmandi and their sponsors, beginning in the school gymnasium.
• Friday, May 12 at 5:30 pm: The Confirmandi and their sponsors should arrive in the school gymnasium before the Mass.
June 18, 2017: Corpus Christi Procession
The annual Corpus Christi Procession will take place on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi - Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The Procession will begin in Our Lady of Lourdes Church and end in St. Peter Catholic Church. An ice cream social will follow final Benediction. More information to follow.
June 18-23, 2017: Totus Tuus
Totus Tuus, the Catholic summer day camp for children and youth, will be held at St. Peter Parish from June 18-23, 2017. Program for teens from Sunday through Thursday evening. Program for children entering 1st grade through 6th grade from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. More information to follow. To see the Totus Tuus page, please click here.
St. Peter Youth Group Schedule
- St. Peter Youth Group meets on Wednesdays in McMahon Hall. 6:30 pm Gathering, 7:00 pm Presentation, followed by social activity in the gym. Pickup is at 9:00 pm in St. Peter School gym.
- "Dinner and a Movie" is offered about once per month on Saturdays from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in McMahon Hall. Cost is $5.00 for pizza and snacks.

October 4, 2017: Holy Hour for Vocations
All are invited to a Holy Hour with Archbishop George Lucas in St. Peter Church on Wednesday, October 4 at 7:00 pm. There will be Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction, and the recitation of the Holy Rosary. Prayers will be offered for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. A reception with cookies and beverages will follow in McMahon Hall. Sponsored by the West Omaha Serra Club.
Important Opt-out Form for Students in Omaha Public Schools
If you have a child attending Omaha Public Schools, there is an important form to Opt-out of its new comprehensive sex education classes that will be taught to Omaha Public School students in grades 4-8 and 10 beginning in the Fall of 2016. There is information in the program that is contrary to the Catholic Faith, and may morally harm children. Please contact the parish office for a copy of the form, orclick here.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix released for the first time ever in its history a documentary-style short film that seeks to create awareness of a crisis in masculinity found in today's society.
