January 15-20, 2018:  Saint Peter March for Life Pilgrimage!

Join the St. Peter March for Life Pilgrimage 2018. Departure on Monday evening, January 15, and return home on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Possible sites in addition to the March for Life are: Life is Very Good Rally, Holocaust Museum, Fort McHenry, Mother Seton House and the National Basilica. There will be one priest (maybe two), for spiritual enrichment and daily Mass. Cost is $400. Deposit of $100 is due with registration. More information to follow. September 27-November 5: 40 Days for Life / 40 Días por la Vida

All are invited to join this peaceful prayer vigil for respect for life. The two locations are: Planned Parenthood, 3105 N 93rd St, Omaha; and the Abortion Clinic at 1002 W. Mission Ave, Bellevue. November 1:  The Solemnity of All Saints

The Solemnity of All Saints is a holy day of obligation. Please plan to assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on this day. The schedule for Holy Masses at St. Peter Church is:

Wednesday, November 01:  

  • 8:00 am Mass in English
  • 5:30 pm Mass in English

November 2:  All Souls' Day - The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed

The Feast of All Souls is not a holy day of obligation, but all are encouraged to attend Holy Mass on this day to pray for all of the faithful departed. The schedule for Holy Masses at St. Peter Church is:

  • 8:00 am Mass in English
  • 5:30 pm Mass in English
  • 7:00 pm Mass in Spanish 

November 19:  Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast

Sunday, November 19, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon in McMahon Hall. All proceeds support the charitable works of the Knights of Columbus. Invite your family and friends for fellowshipe and a delicious breakfast. 

St. Peter Youth Group Schedule 

  • St. Peter Youth Group meets on Wednesdays in McMahon Hall. 6:30 pm Gathering, 7:00 pm Presentation, followed by social activity in the gym. Pickup is at 9:00 pm in St. Peter School gym. 
  • "Dinner & a Movie" is offered about once per month on Saturdays from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in McMahon Hall. Cost is $5.00 for dinner and snacks. Next Dinner & a Movie: October 21, 2017.

Important Opt-out Form for Students in Omaha Public Schools  

If you have a child attending Omaha Public Schools, there is an important form to Opt-out of its new comprehensive sex education classes that will be taught to Omaha Public School students in grades 4-8 and 10 beginning in the Fall of 2016. There is information in the program that is contrary to the Catholic Faith, and may morally harm children. Please contact the parish office for a copy of the form, orclick here

In this new full-color hardcover book, Rev. Damien Cook takes you on a guided tour of St. Peter's - one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in the Archdiocese of Omaha. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix released for the first time ever in its history a documentary-style short film that seeks to create awareness of a crisis in masculinity found in today's society.
