Lenten Baby Bottles

This Lent we can support Essential Pregnancy Services of  Bellevue in their ministry of helping mothers and their unborn babies. Please take a baby bottle found at the church entrances and fill it with prayer pledges, coins, bills, or a check. Make checks payable to Essential Pregnancy Services (EPS). Bottles should be returned to the church on Palm Sunday. Thank you for your generosity. 

Las Botellas de Bebé para Cuaresma

En esta Cuaresma podemos apoyar los Servicios Esenciales de Embarazo de Bellevue en su ministerio de ayudar a las madres y sus bebés por nacer. Tome un biberón que se encuentra en las entradas de la Iglesia y llénelo con promesas de oración, dinero o un cheque. Hacer cheques en nombre de Essential Pregnancy Services (EPS). Favor devolver las botellas a la Iglesia el domingo 14 de abril. Gracias por tu generosidad.

ArchOmaha Unite 

You are invited to join Archbishop Lucas and thousands of others at the Archdiocese of Omaha’s ArchOmaha Unite event on Saturday, June 8 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Totus Tuus:  June 16-21, 2019 

Registration is now open for Totus Tuus summer camp for children and teens to be offered at St. Peter Parish. 

  • Grades 1-6: (For children entering grades 1-6 in the fall.) Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Cost is $25 for one child, or $50 for a family. Bring a sack lunch each day. Please bring a snack to share on the first day.
  • Junior High and High School ages: Sunday through Thursday, 7:00-9:00 pm. There is no cost for the evening sessions. Registration forms and Medical Liability forms are still needed.
  • Parish Potluck Dinner: Date to be announced. 5:00 pm-7:00 pm in the St. Peter Parish Hall.

Totus Tuus Enrollment Forms and Medical Liability Forms

Enrollment and Medical Liability forms are needed for all children and teens. The forms may be downloaded below, and are available in the parish office. Please return the completed forms and fees to the parish office. Make checks payable to St. Peter Church.

LoveEd

LoveEd is a parent-guided, age-appropriate, and gender-specific program that equips parents to teach their children the theology and science of human sexuality within the context of God’s plan for love and life.

St. Peter Parish will host the LoveEd Program this spring: Parent Session on March 20 at the St. John Paul II Newman Center, 1221 S 71st St, Omaha; Grades 5-6 on March 31 at the St. Peter Parish Hall, and Grades 7-8 on April 7 at the St. Peter Parish Hall. There will be a session for high school students at the St. John Paul II Newman Center on March 24. Registration deadline extended to March 13. Please call the phone number on the registration form for late registration.

Important Opt-out Form for Students in Omaha Public Schools  

If you have a child attending Omaha Public Schools, there is an important form to Opt-out of its new comprehensive sex education classes that will be taught to Omaha Public School students in grades 4-8 and 10 beginning in the Fall of 2016. There is information in the program that is contrary to the Catholic Faith, and may morally harm children. Please contact the parish office for a copy of the form, orclick here

This House We Are Building: An Illustrated Guide to St. Peter Catholic Church

In this new full-color hardcover book, Rev. Damien Cook takes you on a guided tour of St. Peter's - one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in the Archdiocese of Omaha.
