November 14 to December 13 - Angel Tree
The Christmas Angel Tree is now up in O'Brien Hall. This year we are assisting several families in need with Christmas gifts and food, as well as the senior residents of Park East Apartments. Please select as many tags as you like, purchase the items, and return them to O'Brien Hall or the Parish Office by December 13. Sponsored by St. Peter's St. Vincent de Paul Conference.
November 22-29 - Thanksgiving Week
Please note the following schedule changes for the week of Thanksgiving:
- November 23: No Monday RCIA classes in Spanish.
- November 24: No Tuesday Homeschool catechism class, Schola Cantorum or Adults' choir rehearsals.
- November 25 & 28: No Wednesday or Saturday catechism classes.
- November 26 & 27: Thursday and Friday the parish office will be closed in honor of Thanksgiving.
- November 27: No Eucharistic Exposition on Friday, November 27.
- November 28: No Saturday catechism classes. No St. Vincent de Paul applications.
- November 29: No donuts after morning Masses. Donuts resume on December 6.
November 26 - Thanksgiving Day Mass & Blessing of Food
All are invited to give thanks to God in the celebration of the Holy Mass at 10:00 am on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26, and to bring any foods that will be served at their family celebrations; all foods will be blessed at the end of Mass. There will be a Vietnamese Mass at 11:30 am. (There will not be an 8:00 am Mass on this day.)

- 11:30 am Holy Mass in Vietnamese
November 26 - Thanksgiving Day Meal
11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Annual Thanksgiving Meal for the poor and those far from family in St. Peter School Gymnasium. All are welcome to attend this free meal.
If you would like to volunteer to help prepare, serve or cleanup for the meal, please contact the Engelkamps at firstname.lastname@example.org or 402-293-1947, or the parish office at 402-341-4560, ext. 102. We will setup on Wednesday, November 25. All help will be gratefully appreciated.
November 28 - Youth Group Dinner & a Movie
All youth are invited to a Dinner & a Movie on Saturday, November 28 beginning at 6:00 pm in St. Peter's McMahon Hall, 723 South 27th Street. Movie to be announced. Cost is $5.00 for dinner and snacks. Optional join St. Peter Parish for Holy Mass at 5:00 pm in the Church before going to the Dinner & a Movie.
November 30 - Young Adults Basketball

December 5 - Altar Society Meeting
The next St. Peter Altar Society meeting will be held in O'Brien Hall on Saturday, December 5 after the 8:00 am Mass.
