February 10 - March 23: Lent / Cuaresma

February 12 - March 18:  Fridays of Lent - Stations of the Cross /                 Los viernes en Cuaresma - el Vía Crucis

  • Stations of the Cross will be prayed on the Fridays of Lent at 5:30 pm in English (includes Eucharistic Benediction), and 7:00 pm in Spanish. Walk with Jesus and Mary as he carries the Cross through Jerusalem to Mount Golgotha.
  • El Via Crucis los viernes en Cuaresma a las 7:00 pm en español y a las 5:30 pm in English. Caminen con Jesús y María en el Vía Crucis mientras se lleva la Cruz a través de Jerusalén hasta el monte de Gólgota. 

February 18 - March 17: Thursdays of Lent - The Sacrament of Penance / Los jueves en Cuaresma - el Sacramento de la Penitencia

  • Beginning Thursday, February 18 - The Sacrament of Penance will be offered from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm as part of The Light is On campaign. 
  • A partir del jueves 18 de febrero - el Sacramento de la Penitencia (confesiones) se ofrecerá de las 5:30 pm hasta 7:00 pm como parte de la campaña La Luz está Encendida

February 20 - "The Seven Sorrows of Mary" Morning of Recollection

All are invited to a Morning Recollection on the Seven Sorrows of Mary, led by Rev. John P. Broheimer. This is a great opportunity for Lent. The morning begins with 8:00 am Holy Mass. Rolls and coffee will be offered after Mass, followed by the reflections on the Sorrows of Our Lady beginning at 9:00 am. The morning will end at about 11:30 am. Please RSVP to Mary in the parish office

March 10 to April 21 - "Priest, Prophet, King" Catholic Bible Study 

We will offer a six-part Catholic Bible study series with DVDs by Bishop Robert Barron. It will be held on Thursday evenings beginning March 10. (We will take a break during Holy Week and not meet on Holy Thursday, March 23.) Please contact Mary in the parish office to pre-register. If you would like to buy the suggested study guide through the parish office, please contact Mary by February 28. The cost for the study guide is $20.00 plus shipping. It may also be purchased at a local Catholic book store or online.   

March 12 - St. Peter Trivia Night!

Registration is now open for the next St. Peter Trivia Night and Silent Auction on Saturday, March 12, 2016 beginning at 6:00 pm in the St. Peter McMahon Hall! St. Peter Trivia Night is an annual fundraising event for St. Peter Catholic Church that includes a delicious dinner from Lo Sole Mio Ristorante Italiano, a silent auction, and team trivia focusing on our Catholic Christian Faith with a few general trivia questions mixed in. Our last St. Peter Trivia Night on March 14, 2015 had 28 teams competing for the prizes. It was a great success and fun for all.
