Dead Theologians Society
The St. Peter chapter of the Dead Theologians Society (DTS) was founded in August of 2003. DTS is a group for anyone who has received the sacrament of Confirmation, who is in junior or senior high school or its equivalent, and who wants to know more about the Catholic Faith.
Presentations are given to the youth on the great saints of the Church in an atmosphere reminiscent of the catacombs in ancient Rome or to the meetings held in the movie Dead Poets Society. Through the saints lives and theology, the youth learn about the awe and wonder of the Catholic Church and the privilege, dignity, and duties of being a member of the Mystical Body of Christ.

"I believe that many who find that 'nothing happens' when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart signs unbidden while they are working their way through a tough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand" (C.S. Lewis).
