Welcome to the Omaha Catholic School Consortium

As of July 1, 2013, St. Peter Church is no longer affiliated with All Saints Catholic School. We have enjoyed our long collaboration with the faculty, priests and parishes that make up All Saints, but our parish is now a part of the new Omaha Catholic School Consortium, a unified school system located in five different campuses: Holy Cross, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Bernadette, Sts. Peter and Paul, and St. Thomas More.

All Saints Catholic School will remain open with the financial assistance of CUES, the Christian Urban Education Service that has funded Sacred Heart School for many decades. St. Peter families who have been using All Saints may continue to do so, but our official financial support and classroom visitations and liturgical assistance by St. Peter priests will now be directed towards the Consortium.

Parishioners of St. Peter Parish looking for a good Catholic five-day education are encouraged to attend the Consortium. In the words of Archbishop George J. Lucas, “Consortium schools will provide excellent communities of faith and learning. We want to share more widely what so many parents already know: a good-quality Catholic education helps parents provide a strong foundation for a young person to grow into an adult possessing strong morals, personal discipline and good character.” The Consortium schools will combine the best in American education with Catholic religious instruction, prayer, sacramental worship, and service to those in need. It is a great privilege to be part of the beginning days of the Omaha Catholic Consortium and we look forward to the many challenges and blessings of the days ahead.

The office of the Omaha Catholic School Consortium is located in the former convent of St. Bernadette Parish, 7600 South 42nd Street. Executive Director Donna Bishop, Director of Development Nicole Evans, Coordinator of Latino School Enrollment Beatriz Arellanes, Business Manager Debbie Novotny, and Administrative Assistant Julie Goetzinger, are excited to work with the school and parish communities that compose the Consortium.
